This is a really cool coffee brewing method I saw at The Garden in Tennessee. They take a coffee sock (reusable filter) and hang it from a rafter above a table. Then they dump the grounds into the sock and pour hot water on top. They are boiling the water on a simple DIY wood stove in a large kettle. The coffee then brews through to a container below where it collects for drinking. What a simple and elegant solution!
It also means they don’t have to use temporary disposable coffee filters.
